The time has come..

to say goodbye to the Kuntz Conception Chronicles blog.

It is sad, yet so exciting to be retiring this blog. It is time to share my pregnancy with our whole family and friends and so, I will now start posting entirely on our other blog.

Thanks to all of you who have shared this journey with us. For all of your prayers and support. We couldn't have done it without you.

It's a baby!!

Just 1 baby, 1 heartbeat. I am kinda relieved.. just makes everything less complicated and less risky for everyone. I was measuring 1 day ahead, so my new EDD is 12-2-08. YAY!

The u/s tech didn't measure the heartbeat. She said they normally only measure it if it looks abnormal, but she said it looked perfect, so she wasn't going to.

Next appt. is on 4-29 at 9:15 again. We'll have another u/s and have an appt. with the Dr. then he will release me to my regular OB. Take a look at our cute little bean.

The night before..

The big u/s is tomorrow and I am getting so nervous and excited. I've had butterflies in my tummy throughout the day today when I think about tomorrow. I just pray that we get great news. I'm not even so nervous about knowing how many babies we have, I just want to see heartbeats. That's really all I'm concerned about at this point.

My mom will be joining Jared and I. Our appt. is at 9:15 AM and I will be sure and blog/post pictures as soon as we return. We are taking the day off of work.

Results

I had my blood drawn on Monday and got the results yesterday.

HCG: 24,803
Progesterone: 101.7

My levels are still doing great! 5 more days until our ultrasound!! WOOHOO!

Only one week to go until our first u/s!!! Anyone want to guess how many we've got cooking?

The more I see other people's beta #'s, the more I think we probably just have one. It could go either way though.. it's just more evidence that beta #'s have nothing to do with how many babies you've got. They can vary so much.

I am going to try and add a poll to the side of my blog for everyone to make their guess.

I have my blood drawn again this afternoon, after work. I am going to a different labcorp that is closer to home, so I am waiting until after work to do it. I will not go back to the Labcorp with the 3 sticks/no blood lady. We will get the results tomorrow. YAY!

As for pg symptoms, I am feeling GREAT! I do have little bouts of nausea, but it's nothing serious. Basically just have to keep my tummy full and I am fine. My biggest symptom is being very tired throughout the day and I sleep great at night. I've started having to get up and pee once at night and I notice I need to pee more even during the day.

I am just so excited to be pg again and I feel so blessed.

HCG chart

This will probably be my last HCG chart as the chart only goes up to 24 dpo.. my next blood draw will be on 26 dpo. I'll try it though.

My #'s were fabulous again!
HCG: 2030
Progesterone: 342.6

The nurse wants me to go back to only taking 1 prometrium pill at night since my progesterone #'s are really high. That's fine with me because those things are spendy!!

No blood?

I had my blood drawn again this morning and I just about smacked the lab lady. She poked me 3 times. 3 TIMES!!!! And didn't get one drop of blood from me. C'mon!!! So I left Labcorp and headed straight to my Dr's office. And no, they are not close to eachother. Labcorp is 5 miles West of work and my Dr's office is 8 miles NE of work.

I went to the front desk and explained my situation, headed back to the lab and the tech there (is AWESOME) had me in and out in about 5 seconds. sheesh!!! I don't think I'll be returning to Labcorp anymore. I am going to ask my nurse tomorrow if I can just come into the office to get my blood drawn from now on. I have it drawn 3 more times, just once a week after today.
We'll get results tomorrow morning. Stay tuned...

Oh, and NO MORE SPOTTING!!! I'm all clear, literally. haha
