Drooling

On Sunday, I went to church at New Jerusalem because mom, Lori and I sang. After we sang, I sat next to Brian, Lisa, Ashley and Andrew. Ashley had her baby doll with her and I played with her quietly for a little bit. While I had my head tilted down, I drooled. I didn't think too much of it at the time. It's just one of those embarassing things that happen; however, while I was talking with my coworker, Mia this morning, I drooled again. What in the world??? It all the sudden dawns on me that I have read before that increased saliva is an early pregnancy symptom! I sure hope so; otherwise, I can be named drooling idiot lately.
Today, Jared signed up for the Iron Man in Coure D'Lane, ID that takes place in June next year. He also booked us a hotel in the area. We will be driving our truck and I hope we have a baby to take along with us. Gary and Judy will probably make the trek with us but, that is still left to be determined.
I will be testing on Monday, July 31, as long as "you know who" hasn't graced me with her presence. "She'll" be a couple days late at that point. I'm hoping "She" takes a LONG vacation.
Wish me lots of luck and Baby Dust!

2 DPO

I am approximately 2 DPO (days past ovulation) today. I really hope we conceived this cycle.

I am not taking my basal body temperature every morning this month. I feel a little more laid back now and I am hoping that will help things. I am starting to feel like I will never see a positive pregnancy test again.

Nothing much is new. Jenny and Chris just bought a home and we moved them in this past weekend.

Other than that, things are pretty much the same. Hoping I can post that I am pregnant on here in a couple weeks!

I'm Home

I returned to Kansas City yesterday at 8:30 PM. I am so glad to be home. I missed Jared so much. My vacation was great though.
The wedding was gorgeous. Jessie was such a beautiful bride! Her and Nathan were so happy.
I was able to spend alot of time with my good friend, Shannon. It was nice to catch up with her. The 4th of July was also alot of fun. Being in my old hometown brought back lots of memories. I met up with quite a few people who I hadn't seen in a really long time.
Jared and I are currently in the works of buying a new truck. We sold the Xterra a couple weeks ago and have only had 1 car since then. We found a truck in Rolla, MO that we are planning to pick up on Saturday. Looks like I'll be off on another trip here soon.

Abigail's Due Date

Today is the day that Abigail was "Due". I can only imagine what my life would be like right now, if our baby girl had made it. I would either be holding my brand new baby or still could be hugely pregnant. How I wish that precious girl would have made it. It is so heartbreaking.
It seems like forever ago that I was still pregnant and carrying her. It's been almost 5 months since I delivered her.
I can't wait to be pregnant again with her brother or sister but, somedays, it feels like it will never happen.

"Precious Abby,
I hope you know that mommy loves you very much. I think about you all day, every day. I miss you so much. Today marks the day that we were supposed to meet. I would have loved to carry you for these full "9 months" and give birth to you. I would have loved to see your daddy hold you and kiss you. The day we would have brought you home would have been one of the happiest days of my life. We would have struggled through our first few weeks together as a new family but, we would have grown so close together and made so many memories.
Abby, I wish things would have been different but, I have accepted what God has given to me. I know he has a plan for you and I. We will meet again one day and that is something to look forward to. I love you, I love you, I love you.
Love, Mommy."

Frusterated

I have gone from beliving I was pg to not, all within 24 hours. I got a positive pregnancy test yesterday, Sunday June 25th. Or,at least what Jared and I both thought was a positive test. I was planning on waiting until Wednesday the 28th but, my impatience got the best of me and I tested early.
I awoke this morning and my temperature had dropped and I tested negative on a pregnancy test.
Right now, I don't know where I stand. Only time will tell. I am hoping by some miraculous way that I still turn out to be pregnant but, all signs are pointing to "NO WAY".
I am so excited to leave on Friday for Oregon!

1 more week!

In 1 week from today, I will be leaving KC and heading to Portland for a short vacation. My cousin, Jessie is getting married and I am so excited to attend the blessed event! Jessie was like a younger sister to me and I am so happy for her. My sister and I will be flying out together. My parents may be joining us but, they are still deciding between flying or driving. We arrive in Portland on Friday afternoon on June 30th. We will head to Bend/Sunriver on Saturday morning and spend some time with my mom's good friend, Sally. She has horses and I am so excited to see them! We will then attend the rehearsal dinner and other wedding things later that afternoon. Sunday is the big day and that will be jammed full of all sorts of wedding festivities. We will head back to Portland after the wedding and reception on Sunday night. I will spend Monday and Tuesday (the 4th of July) in Corbett and then head home on Wednesday. I am really excited to see alot of family and friends!

I am hoping that I will get a positive pregnancy test before we leave.

Next Wednesday, June 28th was Abby's due date. I am hoping we can celebrate that day with a new pregnancy, a brother or sister to our little angel. I will be testing either that day (if I can hold out that long) or possibly some time this weekend.

Wish me luck!

My birthday!

Today is my birthday and I am at work to celebrate :( We had a good weekend though. Saturday started with me going to our church to help out with a priesthood luncheon. I left there around 11:30 and went to the Condo to meet my sis and mom. We left to go to lunch shortly after that. My mom wanted to keep the restaurant a surprise but, I kinda had an idea of where we were headed. But, we got to the restaurant and my friend Lesley was there and Judy, Lisa, Ashley and Andrew. We went to this cute little restaurant on the Independence Square called "Girlfriends". They had a dress up room filled with girly things to wear and dress up in. Ashley just loved it. The food wasn't the best but, we had a great time.
Later that evening, we went to dinner with my parents and Jenny and Chris at On the Border. YUM! On the way home, we stopped to see Abu. He is doing well and looks great.
Sunday, we got up early and headed over to Kansas for the Kansas City Corporate Challenge triathlon. Jared competed in the team triathlon and was 3rd out of the water. Princess made the trip with us and as always, she was a little Princess.
We didn't make it to church as we were too late getting back. Instead, we took the Xterra to be washed and then brought it home and cleaned it up. We took pics of it so we can put it for sale soon.
After all that, I took a shower and fell asleep on our bed for a 2 hour nap and awoke at 4. Around 5, we left to go eat at Waldo Pizza then headed up to the Kempers to get some mail that had been delivered, after we had moved. We chatted with Dana and Aaron for just a couple minutes and then went and fed the horses some carrots.
That pretty much sums up our weekend. I believe we are going to eat with Gary and Judy tonight.

SURVIVOR

For the past couple months, my department at work has been having a "Survivor" Challenge. There are 4 different teams in my department and each team has been competing against their other teammates. At the end of the challenge, the teammate with the highest score gets to go on and compete in the "Final Challened" where they then compete against the other teams.
I received the most points for my team.. The Disbursement Team so, I had the priviledge of participating in the finals.
The Finals were yesterday. The 4 finalists sat at a table infront of our whole dept. We were given doodle boards that we were to use to write our answers on to the questions that we were going to be asked. The first round started with Trivia questions. We then had a round of work related questions, an activity where we had to post our company's "6 Big Ideas" and another round that I forget what the focus was. The last round was a scavenger hunt.
They sent the 4 finalists out the door and we raced through the building. We had 4 stations to go to and they set it up so we did not each go to the same station at the same time.
I was the first finalist back and ended up winning the entire challenge. It was alot of fun and makes me really want to be on the show "The Amazing Race". hehe
I won a $50 gift card to the plaza, 2 movie tickets and a lunch for my whole team.

1 week old

Our house is officially 1 week old today. Jared and I absolutely love having our own house again. We were able to spend a long, 3 day weekend there for the Memorial Day holiday which was nice.

We had the whole family over on Sunday to break our house in with a BarBQue. Those are always good times.
I was hoping we could celebrate our new home with a new pregnancy but, AF showed up on Thursday. Onto cycle #3 of TTC again.
A friend of mine said how it would be neat to have a "souvenier" from our old house. Once AF came she said, instead of a souvenier, maybe you could get a house warming BFP present. I like her idea. So, hopefully this will be our lucky month!

First Blog

This is my first blog.. just trying this out.

I am at work right now. Today, Jared and I are doing the first walk through at our new house. We are exactly 1 week away from our closing and moving date. We are so excited.

I get to leave at noon and won't return to work until tomorrow.
